Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at Sales@Zerma-America.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

An industrial shredder is a low-speed, high-torque machine used to reduce large or mixed plastic waste into smaller pieces, typically ranging from 20–100 mm. It can be configured as single, dual, or quad shaft depending on the application.

A pipe shredder is engineered to handle large-diameter plastic pipes and profiles. It breaks them down into smaller, manageable pieces for recycling or further processing.

A purge shredder is designed to shred purge lumps—large blocks of hardened plastic formed during machine cleanouts—so they can be reprocessed.

A combination unit integrates a shredder and a granulator into a single system. First, it shreds bulky materials, then granulates them into consistent, uniform particles for recycling.
